Coaching Points - Include a notes section with printed plays

Finding the Coaching Points

In the Play Editor, at the very bottom of the page, you will see a small black arrow. Click and hold your mouse on the arrow, and then drag your mouse upwards to reveal the Coaching Points section. This is where you will want to type your notes for the play that don't belong in the Frame Descriptions. Generally, this is set to be steps for each individual player, but you can use this as you like.

By default, your Coaching Points table will contain two columns, one for Pos and one for Description, and several rows. By right-clicking anywhere in the Coaching Points window, you can access more options, such as adding rows or columns, or deleting existing rows or columns.

Selecting the Add All Players option will automatically list the player names on the court under the Pos heading. By default, this is 1 through 5, but if you use custom names, they will come through automatically and sort alphabetically. You can re-arrange these by dragging and dropping the row by the grey box on the left.

Printing Coaching Points

When you go to print your play, click the Playbook Settings icon in the Preview tab. Make sure that you have Advanced Print Settings enabled - to set this up, please read Advanced Printing Options. The settings will now have the option to "Include Coaching Points" for you to select. Below each play, you will see the Coaching Points to that play.

If you have multiple plays on one line, you will only see one Coaching Points table. You will need to change the layout (Start each play on a new line, Frames per Row, etc.) to set this up to best suit your needs.
